Africa’s Top 10 teams in latest FIFA World Ranking

FIFA has just revealed it World Ranking of September after matchday 1 and 2 of the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers.
Teranga Lions of Senegal are still leading the Top 10 in Africa as they won all of their two games during this month’s qualifiers.
Sadio Mané and teammates defeated Togo 2-0 in Thiès on matchday 1 before beating 3-1 Congo in Brazzaville.
Nigeria on the other hand remain at the fifth position despite winning their two matches earlier this month.

Moreover, Ghana keep it position also despite losing their second qualifying game to South Africa (0-1) A defeat after which Black Stars coach CK Akonnor has been sacked.
Ivory Coast are the great winners of this latest FIFA Rankling as they moved from 9th place to 8th place in Africa and from 57th position to 54th position Worldly.
South Africa are in the 13th position, Zambia rank 17th while Uganda Cranes are 18th.
In adition, the next FIFA World Ranking will be published on October 21.
