The two days open national football trials organized by FreIvan Supports Services UK, Galaxy Sports China in collaboration with Green Lock FC has ended in FCT Abuja.


The event held on the 9th and 10th of June at Bwari stadium had featured football players that were invited from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.


The former chief technical officer of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Siji Olagunju supervised the exercise.


When contacted,the coordinator of the exercise, IPSO and PFSA labelled football scout, Abdulgafar Oladimeji declined comments.

The country director, FreIvan Supports Services UK, Joseph Andishu applaud the sirit and resilience shown by the players that were invited to the trials.


Ansdishu said “we are committed to the development, discovery and nurturing of young football talents from Nigeria.

“our agenda is to create an international market space for Nigerian exceptional players to excel in football career, likewise chase a shadow career such as education.


“this far we have invested heavily without asking the players to make monetary commitments, we understand the terrain and the challenges that are associated with the discovery of talented players, we are determined and well positioned to give everyone a fair deal, despite the fact that we are a profit oroiented organization.


Addressing the participant, the team manager Galaxy Sports Academy, Albert Aphehe urged the players to always exercise restraint in their choice of life style.

He further warned that, bad habit is the greatest destroyer of talents, urging the players to imbibe the culture of discipline to help remain focus in their future football career.

Earlier, seasoned football administrator, Mr Olayinka welcomed the players to to the exercise, he noted that Green Lock football club is now a household name in the football development system in Nigeria.


Olayinak said “ we are committee to help the best to achieve their football cream, we are in football development and business and will always welcome any potential that will help the system.


He revealed that the recent football tour of Turkey ios an eye opener to the modern methods of discovering and developing football talents, assuring that the club will not faulter in their set target to help Nigeria players achieve their life dream.
